flash and burn users help

I got my burner and G1 adaptor form moates.net today. I want to burn my new chip but I need help with the chip addressing. I am using the C2 27sf512 chip instead of the original c256 chip for a 730 ecm. is says on his site to set the start device address to hex 8000 if you orginally had a c256 chip but on flash and burn there is a chip address and a buffer address both with a start address. what do I have to set these two things to. when you select the sf512 chip it gives you a 000000 as start address for both and gives you 00FFFF as the stop address for both. what do I do here?

And leave the buffer start at 0000

here is the other thing I just thought of. my bin file is a 64k file. isn't my chip a 64k chip? so wouldn't I just leave it at 0000?

Typically, when you say you're using a '7730, people assume $8D code, which would require the $8000 offset. Is that the mask you're running? 'Cuz $8D is only 32k.

If it IS a 64k file just leave the offsets at 0000. You can look at the file properties in Windows to make sure what size it is.

Did you "double up" the bin?

I just got the AXXF bin file off of moates.net and it says under file size that it is a 34k file. is there something wrong here? my saved file became a 64k. I will burn a new chip with the stock 32k file and see what happens

ok new problem I made sure the file was 32k and then set chip address start to 008000. the end address though doesn't seem to work I get a error message asking if the values are reversed. I have ending address set as 007FFF. if I change the change ending address to 008FFF it will burn. what should both of these be set too. also the buffer settings are 000000 start, and 007FFF ending. can someone lay it out plain and simple what I should be typing in these boxes.

make sure your bin is 32k.

buffer start: 0
buffer end: 7FFF

chip start: 8000
chip end: FFFF
