bigger injectors and regulator

What settings do i want to adjust for running bigger injectors, i am only talking about fuel here. I am using TunerPro RT and i see there is a setting for injector flow rate @40 psi, the stock setting was at 22, what else would i need to change, or is there an article I should look at.

That's the right parameter to change, however your whole VE table may now need adjusting.....

What Vern said. Also, if you increase fuel pressure, you will most likely have to adjust the VE tables as well as the Injector Constant.

Increasing fuel pressure does make a smaller injector behave like a larger injector BUT not in a linear fashion. Increased fuel pressure tends to make a smaller injector = a larger injector at high load/high MAP (Low vacuum) but that same injector at low load/low MAP (high vacuum) will not behave as the same larger injector. It will be a little different.

So your VE Tables usually are a little different at the low MAP values when you use higher fuel pressure (rather than a larger injector).

What are the VE tables listed under in TunerPro RT? Does it mean volumetric efficiency?

Are these the fuel injector constants that i also need to change:

Single Fire FI Size @40psi
Double Fire FI Size @40psi

If i have 30# injectors @ 50 psi, what should i place for a value in each of these tables.

And where can i check the BLM table in TunerPRo RT? I would obviously have to collect data first, but where can i check it?

There is no BLM table. By use of a data logger or scanner, you can check the BLM value in each of the 16 FTCs. The BLMs will change as conditions change. The BLMs are updated constantly as you drive around as long as the ECM is in closed loop.

Once you get some data logged and can see where (RPM Vs MAP) have trouble maintaing the "ideal" 128 value. You make the correction in the VE tables where needed and go for another data drive.
The process takes a few times to get "most" of the tables behaving correctly.

This guy should have a MAF car, as it's an 89. This will not have a VE table, and will not require much if any (other) calibration to return it to the same performance level. There are 2 injector contsants, though, one for double fire (normal) and one for single fire (low PW compensation (double length at half as often to get PW up to linear range and = flowrates)).

so do both constants need to be the same?
