32B without CSI
Is there an easy solution to running a 32B bin with no cold start injector? Ive got an 88 but I removed the CSI when I put my new 89+ runners on. I'd planned on running the 1989 bin (6E?) but ive heard that the 32B allows you to manually set BPW, and is therefore a little easier to tune? Im sure both can be done.
Should I just go 6E and tune it out in the MAF tables, or run 32B maybe with no cold start logic at all? Is it really hard to start without? Its only a summer car, so never started in winter temps.
Thanks for any input,
Matt (total PROM new-b)

I havent done it personally.
Im pretty sure the guys here who have, completely block off the 9th inj. and apply all the pertinent tables from the 89 $6E stuff
Should take care of it.(hope they chime in here since I havent done it)

I did it in my 86, although I haven't gone as far as remove the 9th injector, just disconnected it. BTW the csi is not controlled by the ecm it is controlled by a thermal switch on the intake manifold.
I'm running a 6E for an 89 350 f-body that I modified for a 305.
Other than unchecking the vats, setting the injector constant to 19 lbs, and adding a little fuel when cranking, I've done nothing else, and car runs pretty good. (it has a few other issues that can't be repaired with a chip change)
As far as using the 32b without the csi, it maybe a a little to start, but I really don't think that will affect the way it runs.

I'm no expert, I've only recently started chip burning myself, but, I like the 6E, it has more options, plus, if your into datalogging, the 6E will log at 8192 baud as opposed to 160.
Just go $6E. I played with $32B on my '86 for a while, then went with a $6E based 305 binary and just wrote new timing tables, used ARAP MAF tables, played with PE, and about everythign else. I'm using some of the extra cold start fuel from the $6E (although trimmed back a bit in programming) AND the still-functioning CSI that came with the '86. Starts just fine that way. Runs better than any of the $32-stuff I tried earlier.
I think $6E is easier, possibly because it is better supported and more common.

Alright, thanks guys. I was pretty set on 6E as it was since I couldnt find any 32B bins anyways.
