Why not start with the best available?. 6E
Better yet, bite the bullet and go with a 730 and MAP system

I bought the one from TunerCAT...pretty sweet. Dan T on the thirdgen list has a 89 '165 ECM def file for WinBin that he just finished. Not sure what the location of the file is...but search around...I'm sure you'll find it.

I'm sorry...the winbin file I know that has been created is for the 89 code...which I believe is the $6E code. I have the $32B and the $6E and the 90-91 TDF files for tunercat and I can't keep them straight.

Sometimetimes thou for the starter it's just easier to start with a known good. Not bashing .ecu stuff at all. Just there have been errors and they hung around for a while before found whereas *generally* tunercat and gmepros are right. If Tunercat hears of an error usually in less then 2 days it's cured (least that's what I've seen) GMEPro has made a correction and had it back to me a several times in minutes.
And yes just start with a 6E
I know at least a dozen folks that spent time with the 32s, and then would up doing a 6E and wondered why they wasted their time on a 32. Minor diffs no 9th inj, disable VATS yadayada
