'165 6E for 305?
Even though i said i wouldnt get in to prom alterations, curiousity has got the better of me. Im just starting out and have been reading a crapload. The 6E mask looks a lot easier to deal with than the 32 so im looking for a stock 305 bin in 6E to start with. Does such a thing exist for the '165?
Also, is there a a quick way to safely stop the CSI? Is there a fuse i can pull or something else thats simple to do?
Thanks

There are lots of $6E bins for 305s just give a little more info about your setup and someone will post or e-mail one. As for the Cold Start Injector, you can just disconnect the wire on the injector. With the $6E, it won't function anyway.

the car is a completely stock 305 auto with 2.77 gears. im after a bin that might give a bit more performance over the stock memcal which has the 1228291 Calibrator. either that or a decent stock bin would be fine and i'll have a go at making some adjustments.... hopefully for the better

I did some searching and there are not many bins for your combo. Lots of 350 L98 bins, lots of 305 LB9 5-speed bins, but few 305 LB9 auto bins with 2.77 or 2.72 gears. I was eventually able to track one down and I have e-mailed it to your Hotmail account. Let me know if you were able to get it.
Also, you may want to compare the values in the bin I e-mailed to you to one of the F-body 350 L98 bins like the AUJL (2.77 gears) and AUJM & AJUN (3.23 gears).
The way I understand it, the CSI is not controlled by the ECM. Has it's own switch and operates based on temperature.

The $6E has different startup tables that make the 8 regular injectors provide enough fuel for startup without the need for the CSI.
What does matter is NOT to leave the CSI connected AND use the $6E; then you may flood the engine on startup.
