Paging Pablo

I saw your post a while back about the plastic carriers that protect the chips. I've had to break several of the carriers that I've removed from cars and have not found a source to replace these carries. Often a friction fit on the pins will hold a prom in place, but
I'm always worried about them coming loose. Where did you order your carriers from and can I get the part number from you?

This would be a great help to me.

Thanks,

Cory Harris

Pablo is in Marine training at the moment.

I believe the black plastic carrier you are refering to is discontinued.

If in the off chance you get a part number check out www.partsvoice.com You might locate a dealer that has extras.

Other than that, junkyards are the place to look.

Kinda hard to do Prom burning with having a car around, to verify the results. Surprised you couldn't figure that one out <g>..

I guess you missed the topic (Paging Pablo), and the question in the topic:
"Where did you order your carriers from and can I get the part number from you?"

You arent Pablo, and you didnt reply in the post I quoted with either the part number or a supplier.

Just pointing out as you did to me a few days ago, that you are off topic.

If you look I'd posted twice.
The first one in reponse to the prom holders.
I was replying to his reply.
