Where'd you get it? I just looked at the web page; nothing there about Pocket Programmer 2...

You are talking about the hardware, right???

yep I am talking about the hardware as well as the soft ware. the new programm is windows base and you just click and drag it is cool. I sent out my old one it would not work with my chips any more. they sent the new one back I never sent my A/C converter so I had to switch the polarity back and pealed off the sticker. the programmer itself looks simmalare but they added some sort of pins. if you look at this pic you can zee them just below the socket. http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/amahines/...c=ph%26.view=t It says the old programmer will work with the new soft ware but, not vise versa I recommend the new program even on the old programmer

I just ordered a pocket programmer from Xtronics, and I also received the (2). I think that is what they ship out now.

Cool! Did they beef up the port connector? Mine kept pulling off the flat cable, I had to make up a clamp/block to keep the connector from disconnecting...

BTW: Is that my bathroom lineoleum???

I just think its cool. it has an extra socket so when I finally get to the instructions I will know. and the newer program is great.

the end looks the same just a differant color. so It may still give you problems. well now that I am back I can start asking questions again

Extra socket??? I don't see any extras in the pic...Is it an adapter socket, that fits in the main socket???

just below the black piece that holds the chip there are 6 pins that stick up.
