Darryl, you should also mention to Bruce your heads and cam, as it isn't a stock TPI and though it isn't "radical" it is definitely not a stock setup.

My immediate reaction is something in your Accelerator Enrichment, which is done completely different on the 165 than it is on a 7730. On the version of the 6E that I have, Accelerator Enrichment is not even defined and I do not know if TunerCat has defined it on their latest version of the 6E.TDF.

You might consider playing with the %TPS to Enable PE at the 400 rpm level. It appears that combination of fuel and spark need to be played with. Maybe you need more, maybe you need less. But it sounds like you need to play with it.

Tunercat's TDF for the 165 is very limited. Terry Kelley's GMEPro is very through and is my preferred program for the 165. I'll be happy to forward Terry's email if you like.

Glenn, that's and interesting suggestion on the PE mode enable at 400 RPM. However, if its anything like my car when I had the miniram on, I had the stumble at RPMS higher than that. Worth a try though. MAF cars by nature are not the quickest on throttle response from my experiance. Now that I have SD, my throttle response is very quick. Of course the Superram intake was the most dramatic change to throttle response. Getting back to the 165 though, in GMEPro, there are 4 tables that affect AE or pump shot.

So what table is that in (TPS vs PE)

I only see stuff referring to WOT vs A/F
in the $6E
