Tunercat Table ?s

Im having a problem with a little backfire(intake) and a short sluggish response when taking off. It sounds like the rest of the miniram owners problems on here, especially 89vette's. I just dl cats new version, and got there upgraded (w)TDF. Are there any provisions for a pump shot now? If so what is the table called that I need to adjust? If not are there any other ways that maf guys are getting around them?
Thanks in advance,
Joe

I looked at the tables on their website and it showed at least five titles with acceleration enrichment. Might try those.

Thanks for the suggestion, Ive played around with a few of them, I wasnt sure if there was a table for just the pump shot. Most orf the reading that Ive done just talk about one table, but then again most people are using 730 ecms. Thanks again

I liked GMEPro much better when fooling with the MAF system. I have the 6E.TDF file and it does not have the acceleration enrichment factor versus change in LV8. I never did get rid of the problem after a year or trying. What injectors are you running?

Im running SVO 30's now. Thanks for the info Jason, your posts are what I have been reading mostly. Seems like you hit all the same problems I am right now, and the worse is having that backfire and stumble with stick. If I let clutch out nicely it wont happen, but Im gonna be replacing the thing in no time. Thanks again guys for the help.

It appears that "off idle" intake backfiring with Miniram/manual tranny is a fairly common problem. I have researched this a little bit and one solution that seems to help is lowering the TPS Threshold to engage PE for 400 rpm to around 5% from the typical 50-75%.

But only do this for the 400 rpm level in the TPS Threshold to Engage PE. This will cover your idle speed to 1200 rpm, where this is most common.

Has anybody modified their MAF tables? The grams per second is increased w/ the removal of the screns and cooling fins. Has anybody flow-benched the MAF after this to know what the g/s is?
I was looking for the "86 Camaro Eprom Data Table Chart" to look at it and work w/ Hex works to modify the MAf Constants to compensate for the increased air flow. Does anyone have it so I can do this, since it defines the hex addresses?

Yes, I have.
Unless you absolutely have to, don't.
In the archives here are numerous work arounds for calibrating MAF systems.
TPIS in there calilog list the alledged flow numbers for various modified intake stuff.

For the effort to hog out a MAF and get it right you'd be way ahead to just go with a MAP system. The MAPs are also a ton easier to tune.
