8746 - Confirm A/C input signal is 12v?

I don't have A/C, but I'd like to use this input to trigger a higher idle rpm. I just wanted to confirm it's a 12v input? The A/C input is on pin B8. Better to be safe and ask first

Just curious as to why you want a higher idle RPM with no AC.
Should be a system voltage level input, though.

Might want to put a high impedance resistor in line with the signal, and possibly a high impedance resistor to ground on the same line. But, I'm not really sure if it's necessary. I'm not sure what's built into the AC input on the ECU. On some types of cars, where the AC is not controlled by the ECU, but the ECU still gets a signal to see when the compressor is on/off, there's a diode and resistor (or something like that) built into the wire harness, close to the clutch, to give a safe, consistant signal.

Yes, the A/C in is +12 volts, open for no signal.
