low map surging
low map surging
this surging is driving me crazy. i cant seem to get rid of it. when im cruising its fine, my afr,s are swinging from 1.01-.98 lamda. if i let of the throttle slightly the afr,s swing from 16.1 to 12.0 every second and a half or soo. this is generally around 1600-2400 rpm at the 20kpa range. i keep messing with these 2 tables. is this right? and what direction do i go with these tables? ive been lowering them. thanks

Re: low map surging
Might want to slow down the integrator (should mean increase the integrator delay vs airflow). Just a guess though...

Re: low map surging
Drop the Prop Gain in that part of the table by 5% and then repeat. You need very little prop gain at low MAP and low rpm
Re: low map surging
On my 730 SD vette. I hade to lower Prop gain 30% to minimise low rpm surge/jerking. Its so sensitive with a manual car
Its not 100% perfekt, but good enough.
To get it 100% for me is to use open loop only. But I dont whant that.
Bye.
