SST chip programming problem
Hi, I just bought set of SST 27sf512 70ns chips to replace my Atmel At29c256 chips that went bad. I'm using PP2 to program the chips and I changed the voltage to reflect the new SST chip. The chip programmed with no issues but when I install it in the car, it goes into limp home mode. For some reason the 7730 ECM is not accepting the new chip. Did I forget to change a setting somewhere? Thanks for your help.

Re: SST chip programming problem
I believe I found the solution to my problem. I had the offset wrong for the new chip. Here is the link I found just in case anyone else has the same problem. Worked like a charm.

Yeah, theres an offset when using the larger EEPROM's. 8000 for a 32K bin on a 512 EEPROM.
