Need Stock Bin file ARAR
I am in need of a stock bin file for an 89 vette code ARAR. I searched the net and cant seem to come up with one. i checked moates.net and diy-efi.org. If anyone has a file or can tell me where to get it, that would be much appreciated. Thanks

That bin is posted at diyefi.org in a directory labeled uploads. It's labeled as ARAR 7195 730.bin. If you have trouble finding it let me know and i'll see if i can dig it up and post it here in this thread.

Don't know what happened, i posted an edit to my original post but i apparently neglected to submit the reply. I have an old web page saved to my hard drive from four or five years ago that shows a directory titled "uploads" which no longer exists. Maybe someone over at Corvetteforum.com has a copy of that bin file.

This is ARAR4198, '89 Y-body, 5.7l, 700R4, 2.56 rear. Note that this L98 came with aluminum heads ('113 castings).

The gear ratio was what the tune was based off of. If you need to change your speedo reading for a gear swap change the drive and driven ones in the transmission tail housing. The corvette .bin in a camaro will need fans swiched checked to normally open.

I think we opened up a new can of worms here. Does the ARAR bin file support a electrical speedometer, or mechanical? My axles gear ratio is 3.27. My Camaro's speedometer is cable driven. The big picture is that I wanna eliminate my cold start injector for my 86 Camaro. I think I'm gonna search the forums or start a new thread. Dont wanna hijack the thread.

Both, the VSS input to the ECM is 2K PPM optical. Same as your current set up.
As mentioned there is no 'gear ratio' in the calibration. It has more to do with TCC lockup points and SA for emissions.
It may be better to use a '89 f-body calibration. That makes it nearly a drop in.
