SPIKE in spark advance
While datalogging, and with the set timing bypass connector disconected, the "Spark Advance relative to Reference pulses" jumps from 2.11 (normal; from spark table) to 23036.17(infinity) back and forth, gets more frequent with higher temperature. what does it mean????? Brand new ACDelco coil and ICM.....

I'm not sure and my test bench is down so I can't try to duplicate it right now... But why datalog in bypass? What is the timing doing with timing wire hooked up.
Going up with heat makes me think you did not use heat disapation grease under the ICM (EST), your talking about the module in the distributor correct? It needs the heat disapation grease or it'll over heat and die...

You know what when i was running with it hooked up it was doing the same thing i was just seeing if it would do the same thing if the bypass was connected. I had the mechanic put the ICM and Coil and those fuggers better hope they installed it with that heat sink compound i gave them. I'll have a look see.

Rob, so do you think its only a matter of correcting a typo in the bin (add a negative sign)?

And when it jumps it means that the timing is less then the base setting.

Not sure what version you have, Get the updated TunerPro version.
There is a check box for "signed" values in the ADX file editor.

So basically the values (infinity) should be a negative number instead? Makes sense. I'll check it out. Also I noticed my iac steps were between 1 and 5 as soon as it warmed up. Is there any other possible cause other than a vacuum leak? My map was at almost 20 kpa...
