Super AUJP timing too aggressive?

Ok, i have a SAUJP v3 ccp bin, but the timing tables look a little aggressive for an F-body 350 TPI. It is like 10 degrees higher in some spots. That sounds more suited for an aluminum headed Vette. What do you guys recommend as far as changing the numbers in the Spark Adv. main table in Tunerpro? I want it a little more aggresive than my current stock AUJP bin,but i am unsure of how far i can go? and if i do succeed in getting the timing table the way i like then what else do i have to change next to match it? VE tables? and i dont want to hear "check out the stickies on tuning". Thanks

Yup go ahead copy your stock timing tables if you do not have aluminum heads. Other than that your good to go.

Re: Super AUJP timing too aggressive?

copying the appropriate timing tables for your engine will be just the first step. So you are "good to go" to start tuning. After the first few times you adjust the VE tables you'll probably be most of the way there, you'll be drivable. For the most part the rest is all "fine tuning" that can be done at your own pace while still using the car for transportation if need be.

Curious as to why you are using a old version of SAUJP?
S_AUJP_V41026 is much better in my opinion.

Well long story. I ditched my Hypertech for a stock AUJP. That is what the guy who burned my chip made me. Now that i know a little about tuning,i am ready to buy a prom burmer and experiment.

Sounds like you are using a G1 adapter with a programable EEPROM. What are you using for a Memcal if I may ask?
