What was it called?
What was it called?
Hey Guys,
I haven't been around here for a long time, and have forgotten a LOT.
I remember there was a neat little piece of software I used to have that you could use to open an unknown .bin file, and it would display the contents sequentially in a line graph format.
It was very handy when tackling an unknown .bin as you could see a sawtooth shape where spark and fuel tables were located etc..
I hope that makes sense...
Thanks!

No, I used winbin back then too.. It was no more than a horrible little .bin editor
I'll have to search my old laptop again, it's bound to be there somewhere...
Thanks!

Ben, believe it or not, but it is Tuner Pro. Can view data as either 2D or 3D data. Both V4 & V5 have it under Tools->Advanced.
There weren't many other free editors out there. WinBIN and PromEdit were the early ones.
RBob.

DOH! Thanks RBob, my memory is mush
I was thinking that maybe it was Panalyzer.. I found an old copy on my computer from about 2002, but it didn't do what I remembered either
Thanks for your help.

Ben,
3rd Gen is still THE place for tuning. Intelligent people and discussion.
The LT-5 is very nice. Pretty interesting when u have 2500 more RPM before
power peak.
