Ostrich 2.0 is $175... What are you looking at for $400? The Auto Prom is $329, that has a lot of built in functions.

From what I recall of the Prominator, it's more like the Ostrich in functionality than the Auto Prom.

Yeah 329 plus tax and shipping around 400 but I seen ostrich 2.0 whats the difference between that and auto prom

Re: help going to buy prominator pro

The Auto Prom has the ALDL cable and EEPROM programmer functionality built in, in addition to the EEPROM emulation. along with the ability to add up to 3 channels into the ALDL stream for datalogging. The Ostrich 2.0 is an EEPROM emulator only.

What's a mexhanic , If your looking at the apu1 and don't plan on tuning multiple vehicles best bang for the buck would be the ebl for your 746 ecm.
