By cylinder volume, do you mean the volume in a single cylinder? If that's what you mean it's 50.75 cubic inches (406/8).

To get a little more detailed-if it's overbored to 4.155 and stroke of 3.75=833.2cc. times 8=406.8ci.

I think i figured it out...a 5.7 has 713 352cu so a 406 should be somewhere around 821/822, 821 works out to 400 cu, 822 is 408 its in ml. IM trying to set the cylinder volume for a 406 in tunercat.

305=624.7,350=717.,355=727.,383=784.5,406=831.6,421=862.4

Thats all that I have in my notes for now

For a 4.155" bore x 3.75" stroke, I get 833.23 cc per cylinder, which is close to what Dale gets.

FYI, since the Volume is trying to convert 1,000 cc (the max value) by 255 (max hex value), the "Cylinder Constant" will only vary in 4 cc increments. So you MIGHT enter 833, but the eprom may only permit a value + or - 4 cc from 833 and the next increment must be 4 cc greater.

Just like the spark advance will must change in .3 or .4* increments, not .1* due to the conversion to "hex".

I see......I was wondering why the values changed slightly when I returned to the table. I used 833 for the cylinder volume. IM ready to burn...If I only had some chips.
