Can't Turn Radio/CD Off?

I have a radio/cd player in my 89 IROC and can't turn off the unit. Any ideas?

Transmission: Richmond 6 Spd

Axle/Gears: Moser 9", Detroit Locker, 3.70

If the radio was working OK & the problem just occured, then sounds like the on / off power switch mechanism went bad. If, on the other hand, it was just wired up, then you probably have +12 volt (hot all the time) power connected to the remote amp output, or the power antenna output from the head unit.
