How hard is it to rewire my car?
I am putting the computer back in as well as the Quadrajet and computerized distributor. Problem is, a lot of the connectors that will be needed were just flopping around for a few years and many are melted or broken. I think the easiest solution would to just rewire everything. All the wiring other than the engine bay is good. is it possible to just rewire the engine? Or would that require hacking the replacement harness? My cousin converted his Monte SS to carb from FI and he just took out the "engine harness" as he called it and laid it aside. Are our F-body cars wired similarily? Sorry this was so long and Thanks to anyone whop can help.

Have fun the best thing to do is go to a junk yard and pull it yourself so you can check as you go along,,,,,,,,,, but what you will find is the ones in the junk yard usally get cut off because it's the fastest way to get an engine out of a CAR, just cut and unbolt the engine mounts, thats how they pull engines, But if all you need is an engine harness you might get lucky, as far as CAR harnesses they usally are hard to find, go to a PICK A PART type junk yard where you get to pull stuff yourself.
