Blown fuse
Popped my face plate on my stereo on my way to work today and got nothing. When I got to work I checked the prongs on the back of the face plate. Since it was a little dark sittinig in the car I went to turn on the interior lights and NOTHING. So I think my problem is a blown fuse.
Can anyone tell me where the fuse is for interior lighting and the stereo? I will check it out when I get home tonight. I also do not have an owners manual. I bought it as a used car and the previous owner did not have it. So any info would be helpful.
Thanks.

Try the courtesy fuse in the fuse panel. It controls the interior lights, radio, and I think the horn.

You were right. I also found out it controls the hatch pull down motor also. Replaced the fuse and it blew again right away. If anybody has any ideas I am all ears. I am not too good at the electrical.

Yeah, when that happened to me, i went crazy looking for shorts and pulling apart my stereo just to find out the lighter was bad. Like i said it seems to be a common problem cause its happened to a few people i know. Both birds amd maros. Hopefully its not something major. Good Luck
