Did you put in a new flasher unit? And did you check to make sure all bulbs are ok. Both of these will cause your prloblem..

tyler's right ,it's probably your flasher, although you might want to check the grounds ,front and rear, if this does not solve the problem i've seen grounds do really strange things when contact is bad. you might just be out of blinker fluid, too(no, not really)feel free to email me with questions

My car is the auto, which is now a turbo 350 auto trans with a 355ci slightly built motor.
Going on what was said about the ground, check the ground strap that is at the back of the motor on the passenger side head, if it is corroded or loose it can be a source of problems as well. Sounds to me as if you have a bad flasher unit. As the others have said on the drivers side nearest the kick panel you'll find a cover that has wing style plastic nut that when you twist it will allow you access to fuse panel and the flasher is usually the silver round unit that is plugged into the fuse block.
Hope that helps..

It will require some dimantling though (not quite as dramatic as below though)...

Axle/Gears: ones that turn.
The one on the 'convenience center' is for the hazard warning flasher. The one for the turn signals is on it's own seperate wire connector, and was originally clipped to the metal frame of the convenience center, as is visible in deadbird's pic...
