color of fuel injector wires

I swapped an 89 350 TPI into my 87 2.8L firebird. Trying to finish up the electrical. I need to know what color the fuel injector wires are on the 89 engine harness (i'm assuming they are integrated in the ALDL connector) because my 87 dash harness has a 6pin connector (that the 89 engines harness doesn't have) with the fuel injector power wires in it.

This is what the 6 pin connector looks like on the dash side. I do not have the mate for this connector on the engine harness so i think i need to splice it in somewhere.

The power wires from the fuse panel are pink/black stripe. The wires from the ECM wires are blue (or dk blue) & green (or dk green). The power runs over to the ECM where the injector wiring for each side were twisted togeher and then to the ECM bulkhead (on the pass hinge pillar). From the outside, they stayed twisted until the solder joint where it broke to the 4 inj per side.

ok, what i did was check the continuity of all the wires going to the ALDL connector (engine harness side) with pins D15 & D16 of the ECM. I found two black with grey dots. So i wired those two to the pink / black coming from the fuse panel. I checked the injector wires with a test light (with key on) and i now have power. Problem is, car still won't start. I know i have fuel cause i removed one of the fuel lines at the engine, and i have spark cause i removed a spark plug and cranked the engine. What else could it be? Any other power wires that are supposed to go somewhere (ie from that ALDL connector)

There are a few other items that use the ECM harness to run power out to the engine but, they are for the AIR solenois and something else irrelevant to the car actually running. It's odd the hanresses didn't work togehter. I used the main portion of an 85 v6 harness in my friends truck and it hooked up just fine to the 88 tpi hanress (granted the rest of the interior hnress was a nightmare).
I'm guessing you got your pump running ? What's the FP when the pump primes ?
Is your timing set relatively close to what it should be ?
Does the car even act like it's wanting to start ?
Are the injectors pulsing ?
I've run out of questions... lol

Thanks for the reply. No the car doesn't try to start. I've pretty much traced it to the injectors not pulsing ( I have 12V at the injector with key on, but nothing during crank..using test light with ends on the injector plug) I'm trying to bypass the VATS using a circuit made from fieroaddiction.com and i guess it's not working properly. I was still under the impression the car would start for a couple seconds. But, I guess I'll try and make another circuit board to bypass it. The timing should be close and i am getting spark. I guess alternativly, i could try to find a vats control module, but none of the wreckers around here say they have any. Do you know if vats only controls injector pulse (other than starter enable, but my car is cranking just fine) or another way to bypass it without reprogramming??

I think the easiest most effective way would be to take it out of the computer chip.

Yes, 3gc, it probably would be easier to reprogram the prom but i currently do not know anyone who does this or where to go. Alternatively, if i found a vats control module at the wreckers, would i be able to put in the right resistor (1 of 15...trial and error) and connect it to the ECM??? Or are there extra relays and stuff. My car cranks fine right now so i suspect i don't need the starter enable relay. Would this work??
