Im runnin a system .. amps pushen 1000 watts.. so i need a bigger alternator and i kno it.. i think the system killed it.. so im thinken a 140+ what would be the easiest alt to hook up with not a lot of fabrication.. money isnt an option. I kno my alt went bad because when i hooked up the new battery, it said 13.5-14. volts right away then dropped to 12.... then turned the lights on now were down to 10 and so on.. lol shes shot any opions will be greatly apprieciated!

now the alt is getten worse.. you think its the alternator? i have nothing else running i turn on the heat and it barely keeps up to charge the battery.. so im taken its gotta be the alt.. where can i get one that bolts right in there, like which one

 

What size battery are you running with that alternator. I run an optima red top in mine.

i went to 4allstart or sumtin like that and im getten a 180 amp for 1 hundred sumtin.. that one on ebay only puts, Unit Puts Out 70-80 Amps at Idle.. i can get higher for like 50 bucks more.. so i mineaswell at 4allstart.. thanks tho!!
