The simple answer is, call your local parts store or pontiac dealer. Sorry if that seems harsh but I tend to call 'em as I see 'em.

Mine uses the rectangular ones with 3 prongs in the back.

I have no phone/no parts stores within 20 minutes. I imagine someone at one point has replaced their headlights and would know.

Firebirds use quartz halogen sealed beam headlamps as standard equipment. The number is H6052. Take your pick of the brand of lamp, GE, Wagner, Sylvania, etc...

You wait an entire day to get your info and you say the parts store is 20 minutes away, yet thats where you will be heading now that you have the info you need? What a waste of bandwidth. Should have taken my advice. You could have easily have done a search as well. The 6052 bulbs are as common as underwear. They fit several types of vehicles. Now that you are getting the bulb changed hopefully you will "see the light."

P.S., my headlight bulbs aren't burned out. You know what happens when you make ASSumptions. I needed the info so I can find out the wattage to see what wiring I need to run since I'm tossing in brighter reverse lights/high beams for the jerks that tailgate me. So a 20 minute ride each way to get the part number to come home and find out it's not what I want. Thanks anyway for your useless input. :lala:

Actually you were not that specific in your post so it was only natural for that assumption to be made about your headlights being out. If what you had wanted to know was the wattage of the lights so you could do a modification to your lights then you should have specified that in your post and you might have gotten a better response to your questions.
