Iginition Probelms....

Hi, when i start my car up, It cuts out and takes a while to start. When it finally starts once its hot, you can shut it off and it will start right up.

However it still runs very bad. It lacks power, and backfires.
When its cold, I checked, its getting no spark.

I replaced the Ignition Module, Rotor, Dist. Cap, Coil, and fixed some wires, but I still have the same problem.

Any Ideas????

I read your post while sailing with the Captain last night and posted a response before I realized that you had a carbed engine instead of a fuel injected one. Will try to get a better answer for you. BTW, the Captain had me walk the plank afterwards.
