Battery almost dies when ACC fuse is in
alright, for the longest time my interior light has not worked, and me either being to lazy to change the bulb or the fuse it has sat un-working. until today I had some time so I swapped them both out for working pieces, then when i started my car I noticed that the battery guage is reading almost in the red. i take out te fuse, and it goes back to normal operating range. any suggestions?

sounds like a short somewhere, i had a similar issue where it would drain my batt, for me it was the acc circut w/ the door locks it was a bad lock relay i just disconnected the relay for now. I would find out whats on that circut and start trouble shooting.

When you had the bulb in, did it work? If it did work, did it stay on with the door closed or did it go off?
BTW, the fuse for that light powers several different circuits.

Sorry for the lengthy reply, the bulb operates as it should when the fuse is in. When the car is on, all the accesory lighting dims very bad, and the voltage meter for the battery drops below the middle of the gauge almost into the red.
