a friend let my brother use one in his mustang. it is very accurate. he attaches to his winshield, it told him how fast he was in the 1/4 mile and how much horsepower he had. g-tech showed he did 13.5 in the 1/4 mile and had 293 horsepower in his 87 mustang. at the track he did a 13.48.

very very accurate.

TO WIRE IT UP.......

JUST PLUG IT IN!!

heck, it only took me 3 tries to hit the hole!!! oh never mind that was something else.

truly all you have to do is plug it into the cig lighter. only bad thing is unplugging the valentine one!!

and yes i bought one but it just arrived and have not tried it yet but reviews look decent. see previous post as an example.

lemme know it you get one and if you like it. for $31 delievered i don't think you can go wrong. they were down to 60 units last time i looked so you may not want to wait to long.

there is a suction cup that sticks to your winshield, and plugs into your cigarette lighter, thats it.

It uses an accelerometer to measure the speed and acceleration of the car. By entering the weight of the car it can calculate HP.

It uses an accelerometer to measure acceleration of the car then calculates speed from that (using acceleration and time). Then it can find distance using speed and time. Neat little things, I have the Passport GT2 by Escort.
