high beams

I bought my camaro about a year ago and my high beams have never worked. My head lights work fine but when i pull back on the turn signal lever nothing happens. There is no click or anything. They used to work when the steering wheel was all the way up but not it doesent work at all. Does anyone know what is wrong or how to fix it.

You need to adjust the dimmer switch on the steering column above the ignition switch. See enclosed pictures.

I took off lower trim piece under the steering wheel and found the switch. The piece that i found didnt look like the one on the picture though. Is this the piece i would adjust or am i looking at the wrong one? It moves when i pull on the lever so its part of the high beam switch but i cant find where you adjust it.
