Sensor for AIR?

Transmission: THM-700-R4
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt posi 3.23
Sensor for AIR?

a while back i scoped out the AIR system and was planning to gut that crap as well as my cat... but then i noticed a wiring harnes that was plugged into some delco remy thing was also connected to it and i left it alone. what is that thing and would i get a SES light if i removed the AIR system because of it?

If you mean the item in this picture, it is a "pressure operated electric divert/electric air switching (PEDES) valve".

What would happen if got rid of the PEDES valve?

well can i just disconnect this wiring harness for the PEDES without getting a SES light?

Yes. Mine has been unplugged for a year with no code. You can also unplug the purge cansiter if you are eliminating it / modifying it.

alrighty then, ill prob remove it next year (storin for the winter) but here is a picture of what im talking about
So if i unplug the white and green harness i wont get the SES light?

No you won't get the SES light if you unplug those wires. When you do get around to removing that system, don't forget to plug off the lines and air pump.

alrighty then thanks for your help guys When i remove the air system next year i will get rid of every thing connected to it, the cat, air pump, and lines.
