Relocating my turn signals
Hello everyone!!!
I hope this is the right section to ask my question.
I'm going to relocate my turn signals to the bumper area in my 82 trans am, using the stock turn signals. I need to extend the wires so that the turn signals can reach. My question is what gauge wire should I use or how can I calculate this?
Hope the question is clear.
Thanks for any help in advance.
Chris

16 gage wire is good for 8 amps, which is way more than you will need for your turn signals, but still small enough and flexible to route in just about any location. Make sure to heat shrink your connections to keep moisture out of the connection
