Switched Power Wire in Engine Bay...one on old Fan Relays???

i need to run an ignition switched power wire for my adjustable fan switch. im no longer using the factory fan wiring and relays on the firewall (1991 TPI) but what wire on one of the relays is switched that i can run my new fan wire too???

i plan to cut off both old relays...which i dont think will hurt anything

if you still have the wiring from the relays in the engine bay, the brown one is 12V switched...

Are you referring to the fan relays? I still have a little bit I probably can splice into...I was told that the fan relays were Ground switched and not 12v switched

yes, the wiring to the fan relays. that is a true statement about the ground switched relays, too. the grounds are what completes the circuit. i'm not even clear on what that wire serves for a purpose, but it's there... just make sure you test it for sure to make sure you get a light or 12V. you'll be good-to-go.

Why dont you just run it from the fuse box? Pick an ignition source fuse.

What about the Pink distributor wire for a TPI motor? I'm running a carb at the moment but someone told me this wire was ignition switched and would work fine.
