Axle/Gears: strange 3.73's
testing computer?
is there any way to test the computer while it is not in the car? thanks for the help. -jon

Not a good way. You would need a complete engine simulator.
Do you need to test it or do you need to find out if it's bad? You can always use a different ECM in your car to see if there's any difference between them.

well i bought a tpi setup off of someone and they melted through some of the wires in the harness, i wanted to see if i could test it because i wasn't sure if this would hurt the computer any.

Then you can put it in a car that has the same computer. If the car runs the same, the ECM should be ok.
