Cables hanging from under hood
I recently purchased a 92' camaro RS when i opened the hood i noticed ther was a cable hangin from the hood i think it goes to the louvers am not sure wher it goes any help will be greatly appreciated

Welcome to TGO. Underhood lamp located at the windshield side of the hood?

Please, no need to yell when you get an obvious suggestion. You asked for help, here it is. If your not sastisfied, and want to continue to tell us what we do or don't have on our cars, go get a book and figure it out yourself.
That's the ONLY thing that will have an electrical wire actually attached to the hood(from the factory, anyways). If you find some way to attach it to the louvers, let us know.

Does your wires/harness look something like the attachments below
Then you are probably missing the under hood light as JamesC suggested.
Also, take a look on the inside cover of the center console. There should be a list of RPO codes. If one of the codes is U26 then you should have an under hood lamp as shown in the attachments below.

Do your "hanging wires" inluded an inline fuse with a connector on the end

Post a few pics of what you have so we can get it hooked up.
