Re: Power Window Wire help
I would run a wire from the fuse box. 14 guage would probably be your best bet. As you are looking at the fuse box on the right side between the heater/ac and stop/hazard fuses you should see where the power windows ckt breaker would be, the opening just above a metal can that shaped like a fuse marked PWR ACC. One side will have power with the key on, tap into the other side for your power wire to the switches. You should get a 35Amp circuit breaker to put in the fuse box. Any parts house should have them.

Re: Power Window Wire help
would I need to pull the full box down to do this or will it be pretty easy? This is the fist of this type of thing to do.

Re: Power Window Wire help
Quit killing yourself,......... I've installed this set-up in an 86 and a 91 in the last month and it's pretty easy if you have the right stuff.

$20 + shipping.
* Buttons are $7 each
If your car is an 82-89 it will have a power junction bok behind the drivers kick panel. Plug this harness into the junction box and your done. Your fusebox is already wired and all you need to do is place a circuit breaker in the correct slot. ( looks like a metal fuse. )
I've also got a harness for Windows and locks as well for $35 + shiping.

If your interested just post your ZIP and I'll get a shipping qoute for you.
