Hey guys,

I recently bought a 1985 Z28 Camaro
Its a 305, 5speed

there are a few electrical problems i would like to fix but im not sure how to go about doing it.

One of them is the tach is wayyy off. it idles at 3000rpm and when i barely put my foot on the gas it goes all the way over to 7000rpm. I was thinking that maybe if i just buy a new instrument cluster it would fix the problem.

also with that when i turn on the head lights the lights on the instrument cluster dont come on.

i was also thinking if i was going to buy a new instrument cluster, i would like the upgrade maybe to the IROCs instrument cluster that the speedometer goes up to 145mph instead of 85mph. would that be possible? would the speedometer read correctly?

also the drivers seat is a power seat, but it moves forward but not backwards. which is really inconvenient. any ideas?
