The ever popular VATS questions.....Need a bit of help again.
Ok...I am at a standstill.....I need to know exactly where my vats relay(or vats box) is located at....I have a 1991 Pontiac Firebird v6, 5 speed....I have looked for it but still have not found it. Somebody please help, I have heard several locations, but still havnt found it. ANYBODY???

The VATS starter enable relay is behind the left hand kick panel. It's screwed to the body. The VATS module is behind the dash screwed to the plastic duct coming from the plenum that directs air to the driver's vents.....

I understand where the Relay is, but the Module diagram, is too close up to identify it's location.

You have to remove the instrument panel to get at the VATS module.. It's on the air distribution ducts from the plenum. Once you know that, when the instrument panel is is out, you can't miss the module.

that is incorrect my friend...i cannot see the thing at all. all i see is a big plastic piece....i still cannot locate the vats module. any other advice?
