nordskog senders

I was thinking of buying a nordskog dash for my camaro.
included in the kit are some senders made by nordskog ( temperature and oil pressure) only problem I see is. the sensors from nordkog are 1 or 2 wire sensors.
while the original gm sensors are 3 wire sensors.

anyone here installed nordskog sensors in place of there normal sensors ?

Not sure what model GM you're talking about but both my temp & oil senders are only 1 wire.

Re: nordskog senders

well if theyre both 1 wire senders and you have the corresponding gauges, why would it matter what they used to be? just rewire the temp/oil sending unit using one wire.

Re: nordskog senders

because the temp sensor also goes to the computer wich controls the fan. I dont want to stand in traffic figuring out that the computer doesnt get a tmp signal. making the fan not running and overheating my car.
would be the most expensive sensor ever.

Im pretty sure you car has a Fan Switch also. The fan switch sends the temp to ECU and the Temp Sender goes to the gauge.

Re: nordskog senders

and where would that temp sender be located on a V6 camaro since i just cant find the damn thing. do also note that hypertech or any other manufacturer doesnt offer any fanswitch for the V6 to lower the temp.
