Help with Identifying Modules?

I would like have help with the identification of a few items on a 1987 Firebird 5.0 LG4:

1. A Black Box 3"X5"X1" With the Letters AC on it it is mounted on the passenger side right under the pouch.

2. Is what looks like a aftermarket piece but could be a replacement this is 3"X2.5"x.75" and is yellow and has the tag that says 4 Out Buffer.

3. The 2 relays that in the battery area, 1 is right next to the radiator and the other is by the fender.

4. This really isnt a queston but a request but can someone give a link to where all the wires into the fuse block go and are if possible.

All Help Is Appreciated!!!!1

Re: Help with Identifying Modules?

#1 What wire colors go in the box?

#2 Sounds like the VSS buffer for the speedometer.

#3 There are many relays in the engine compartment. 2 for the headlights, 1 for each electric fan (if equipped), 1 for fuel pump (if equipped) etc. What wire colors do those relays have?

#4 Try our page with diagrams: http://www.austinthirdgen.org/index.php?pid=19

Hope this helps a bit.

Re: Help with Identifying Modules?

You will need to follow each specific diagram for wire colors for each fuse. I haven't seen a specific diagram of the fuse box wiring.

Re: Help with Identifying Modules?

Sorry for the bad news but that's the only way it can be done right now (unless somebody compiled a nice diagram on their own).

Good luck on your quest and don't forget that plentiful cussing makes work go faster.
