name this plug???
ive got an 88 iroc and in swaping the engine i gess i didnt mark everthing and cant find a place for this plug 1 wire is tan or light brown with a white traser the other is orange its on the back right side of the motor i cant find where it goes can any one help??

from your pic. it looks like lt. side ( drivers side of eng. ) . if so i would say it's oil press/fuel press. lead . switch is above oil filter . ?????????????

it comes out of the big wire harnes that runs across the back of the engine and is on the driver side ive got the oil psi taken care of so it must be the fuel psi switch????

Yes, this is for the oil pressure fuel pump switch. Depending on what you're swapping in, you might/mightnot need this one.

There were a couple configurations of this switch, one w/2 wires, one w/3. Since you have the two-wire plug, it's safe to assume your'e talkin' about the oil gauge working. The purpose of the switch is to cut off fp power in the event the oil PSI drops below 6lbs. The switch is on a boss just above the oil filter, and, if you're keeping the circuit intact, you need it. There are ways around that, though, if you don't have the provision for the switch on yer new motor(is that a rat?).
