Wire Harness to stock ECU

Wire Harness to stock ECU
What is this harness for ?
There is 2 plugs in the end of it and they connect to the stock ECU from the fusebox..
I'm Guessing i need to keep some or all of the wires.. but i'm just wondering what they did, so if anyone has a simple answer so thanks.. (I'm installing Commander 950, so i would like to get rid of as much of the stock wires as i possibly can)
I'm sorry about the arrows that i drew on the pic, they are kind of hard to see!

That connector is one of the lifelines for your car. You can't remove it without major modifications. It is labeled connector 207 in the diagrams. It routes voltage to the computer, it sends information from the computer to sensors such as vehicle speed, it is connected to the park/neutral switch or clutch switch, sends power to the distributor. There are 15 pin outs to that connector. Do you want me to keep going? Point is you need that connector to stay where it is. Hope that helps.

The Engine harness is completely removed, the only thing i really need left in the car is power to the dist, and , hmm, yea thats about it...
the engine harness is completely removed, new harness and commander 950 system...
the gauge cluster is also completely removed and will be replaced with a dakota digital unit. and so on ..

So do you want the pinout of every single slot on that connector? That way you know if there is anything you should keep.

You have to get a full service manual for all the intricate wiring diagrams. Do a search on this site and you may find what you need.

Try those sites and see if you get what you need.
