I decided to take some pictures of my HID installation to help those who wanna tackle it. Honestly it was very simple to hook up the wiring. There was no cutting or splicing. Just a plain plug n' play. The install isn't complete yet, I need the projector headlights to finish. I bought my kit at Harbor Freight. I believe the make is Road King.
Like I said this is a very easy installation, and now I'm kicking myself for not doing it earlier.

did u buy them at the hf store or online? im assuming u just bought balasts(sp) there? what did they cost roughly?
I bought them at the store. I think they are discontinued. I got mine for $59.99.
nice job, i hope you re aim your headlights, cuz your gonna blind the hell out of everybody, when i did mine i had to aim the light all the way down, but makes a hell of a difference to halogen
I'm kinda curious though, if a bulb burns out, how do you replace it?
Well I have one projector headlight installed now. Wasn't too bad. No trimming was needed. HID's are frikin amazing! Sorry about the pics, the camera doesn't want to work without the flash.

HIDs (with E code housings) are way better than stockers and Silverstars. I hate driving cars now without HIDs.
Yep, they are the 6000k bulbs. I can't believe I waited to install these. Now I just need to find a kit for my dads honda.

THE trick to making aftermarket HID kits work correctly in reflective headlamp housings, is to be absolutely sure that the HID arc is produced in EXACTLY the same location and orientation as the original tungsten filament. I have spent a LOT of time with a 9007-3 telescopic kit in my Grand Prix. Possibly too much time, but it's damn near perfect, with no more glare than was present with the original 9007 setup. Almost all of the HID kits are made in China, and are WAY out of bulb spec. Out of the box, you will get a real shitty beam pattern, and **** off a lot of people with your overly excessive amount of glare. You'll also notice you can't see **** in a snowstorm either...

Need to measure the distance from the base of the lamp to the tungsten:

Made my own adapter rings from dead 9007 bulbs:

Completed assembly:

My kit came from VVME. Decent enough stuff, but the bulbs were badly designed and their customer support sucks the bag...

I just installed a sealed beam conversion kit from Eurolamps, $69.00 for both headlights and bulbs, free shipping.
