Blinker problem
Alright, well I'm completely confused. My left blinker doesn't work. It is always lit up in the dash, but when I actually turn the blinker on it gets even brighter, but just stays lit and doesn't blink. When I turn it on, the rear blinker light becomes solid as well as the front blinker. But the side marker light doesn't work. When I turn my lights on, the side marker light becomes a solid light and the front blinker light goes out. The right side works just fine though. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: Blinker problem
That's odd. I have the exact same problem on my '91 GTA.

Re: Blinker problem
I'm thinking it has to do with something inside the column. It stopped working when my column became really lose and then we fixed that but didn't look at the switch or anything. But if anyone can let me know if that sounds right, please do so.

Re: Blinker problem
Well..I don't know. They all work now, just at the wrong times. Can't hurt to clean them, though.

Re: Blinker problem
thats how all the lights where on my maro they onley worked sometime like with the taillight i would think they worked until my sister would be drviing it and gets pulled over for the tail light being out then when going to change it it worked. and with the blinker it would blink sometimes but not others so i just cleaned them all and every light works now so it allwas good to keep them cleaned up

Re: Blinker problem
I had the same problem with a 88 camaro my wife had...
we searched the car over for loose ground wires .... non found
then used electrical contact cleaner (I think its made by 3M) on all the bulb sockets... worked fine after that... wish that was the only problem the car had...

Well I'm finally free from school and work tomorrow, so I guess I'll try cleaning them really well. I hope that fixes it. Thanks guys.
