Help me identify these wires 87 T/A
87 305 TPI Trans am
Bone stock except for whatever the hell this thing is

OK, i cant remember if this is stock or not, i remember seeing something similar on my Camaro, but im not too sure, and i dont want to rip apart the dash.
What is this? All of this is located under my dash btw. Its got some fuses in it that dont look stock, and one of them isnt there.

This is some purple wire near the hood release, its unplugged and im not sure what it is. I dont want to just connect it without knowing what it does.

These next two are puzzling, the blue and yellow wires lead to my fuse box, they actually go into it in one of the blank fuse spots, then run down to right under the hood release where the yellow wire ends in nothing, its just got electrical tape under it, and the blue one taps into what i think is a power supply wire. Eventually all of this ends in those two light bulb socket looking things that are hooked into a black and white thicker gauge wire. The kicker is a toggle switch is hooked into this circuit also. This is quite confusing, the black and white wire look stock but im not sure, anyone got any ideas as to what the heck this thing is? The switch also does nothing as car as i can tell.

Correct, this is wiring for an aftermarket alarm (I recognized the connector immediately). This is not stock at all.
Hope this helps.
