Tail Lights turn signal blinking speed

When i go to put my signal on the right side, it seems to be delayed inbetween blinks. When i watch it, it looks like it blinks twice as slow as the left turn signal. i changed out the bulbs but i still have a slow blinker.
Could it be a relay, or what? im no expert with electronics.
thanks

I'd begin by replacing the turn signal flasher... simple and cheap from any auto parts store. Here are some samples for your car:

There's the tried-n-true Bussmann #552 metal flasher for about $3, or you can spend about $9 for a newer-style electronic flasher. Tip: the electronic flashers are plastic, and they can melt on a hot summer day, so I'd recommend the good ole metal-style.

Now, if you don't know where it's located, that won't be so easy to describe... Most guys would say it's in the "convenience center," but it's not. It's clipped to the metal frame of the dash just above the convenience center. And the convenience center is under the dash between the steering column and the center console, near the diagnostic port.

Remove the underside of the dash, pull down the convenience center, then look up there for the round flasher clipped to the metal frame. Remove, unplug, plug in the new one, test signals, re-clip, and put everything back.

Re: Tail Lights turn signal blinking speed

if your signal flashes faster on one side than the other, the circuit on the slower side has more resistance. likely a loose or corroded connection somewhere.
