Fuse block misfurtune.
So the electric cooling fan on my 91 camaro does not work. I used a voltometer or hot light (whatever you prefer) to see if the fan was even getting power. Turns out it's not, the power wires going to the fan are completely dead. How do I figure out where the wire is losing it's power? I checked the fuse block with a hot light and half of the fuses on the block don't light up, but I know they work. So im wondering if the fan is tied into the fuse block. I dont want my 3rd gen overheating on the road. That would look bad for all of us! Please please help

did you check for hot power at the fan, fan temperature switch or at the fuse block.

Bad fusible link
Depending on the engine, they are either all on the starter lug or some on the starter lug, others on a small power dist block near the batt

Dumb question but, did you check the power @ the fan when it should be on?
You can check if the fan motor actually works by applying power to it from the battery
Next I'd check the sender in the pass head
Multi-meter it with the engine cool to get a baseline and then when it's hot
Could save you tracing wires to find out the fan switch is pooched

I checked for power at the fan and the fuse block. nothin. I don't know what the fan temp switch or the fusible like looks like or where they are located. there is a small dist block located near the battery that I took a pic of, but I cant figure out how to post the pic. I have not checked power at the fan when it should be on nor have I hooked it up directly to the battery. The dist block you speak of....What is this for? Sorry no pic yet.

Power distribution block is where multiple power wires connect at one point
No power at your fuseblock suggests a bad fusible link because the interior is fed by one 12v power wire. No 12v across it means the link is bad
