Car: 1985 Camaro IROC
Engine: 350 tpi
Transmission: 700r4
discontinued part
the mounting bracket on my rear defogger switch broke off at some point so i went to autozone to buy a replacement. they told me i had to buy it at a dealership. so i went to a local GM dealership and they informed me it is a discontinued part. i have looked through 3200 parts on ebay looking for this one simple, stupid switch.. is it something that i can hook up just a regular 5 prong relay to and hook a toggle switch up to it or do i need to go and try to search junk yards for one that will fit? i asked a couple weeks ago at a local salvage yard and they werent aware of anyone around me that had a third gen camaro. did any other vehicles use that same switch by chance? any help would be greatly appreciated.
