right turn signal doesn't always work

My right turn signal goes out every once in a while. I will click the lever and the light on the dash stays lit and doesnt blink at all and the lights are not flashing out side the car but other times it works perfect. Could this be a relay going out of something like that?

Re: right turn signal doesn't always work

I'd replace the bulbs on the right side - you might have one where the filament is going, but hasn't totally gone yet - cheapest easiest thing to try first.

There's no relay, just the flasher module, but if the left side is working, then the flasher is doing it's job.

Only other option I can think of would be an issue with the wires from the stalk to the flasher - the wires for the right signal may have a short in them - but I'd try replacing the bulbs first before I started digging in the steering column.

Thanks for the fast response! I will try the bulbs first.
