Turn signal lights not flashing
Hey everyone, for some reason when i turn my turn signals on they dont flash. They do light up but dont flash, i recently replaced all the bulbs with LED bulbs. Could that be the problem? If not what could be?

Re: Turn signal lights not flashing
LED bulbs probably the issue. You need a different flasher for LED's. A standard flasher works by overloading the bulb with juice, which breaks the connection inside the flasher - this happens over and over, thus the flashing. With LED's, they don't draw enough current to make the flasher break the circuit, thus no flashing.
(OK, not a real technical explaination, but you got what you paid for
)
You need an electronic flasher that works from diodes and resistors inside the flasher, and not just a simple circuit overload like a standard flasher. Any auto parts store should have them, about $10 I think.

The Superbright folks say that most of the time these will work, but I've never done it so I won't guarantee it
They are on the shelf at autozone, advance, etc.:

If not, then this should definitely work:

mine both work but they seem to get tired of blinking after a few seconds! lol. when I put my blinkers on they blink at normal speed then start slowing down until the blinker just stops blinking & stays on. any idea what it could be?

Re: Turn signal lights not flashing
I would look into replacing the flasher relay under the drivers side dash i believe on the left side. My problem when i changed from the stock bulbs to led was there wasnt enough power since leds are low consumption to get the flasher relay to trip like a circuit breaker. Once the power reach its max it shuts off then since not enough power it turns back on and thats how you get the flashers to work. When i had my stock flasher relay in there it wasnt enough power to trip the relay and therefore it didnt flash. The lights in the dash would freeze, then i got the led relay flasher and everything was good. Take a trip to your local part store and pick one up if you havent tried that. There no more than 10 dollars. Try that and reply if it worked.
