Re: Horn switches.

It's possible, but with the availability of them in a JY and they not exactly being wear items, why not grab a cheap used one?

Re: Horn switches.

I picked a set up from the dealer not to long ago for my 90 which would be identical to yours .
But if in fact it is discontinued then as mentioned by Pocket you should have no problem picking up a used set.

All the ones I find at the JY are broken, without exception.

Los Angeles. I think they are broken when people try to yank the air bag.

Re: Horn switches.

They shouldnt break when the air bags are removed unless theyre being pried off.
You should be able to get them from the JY there are more third gens there then where Im at (unless your in a very remote area)and any 90-92 camaro will work

Re: Horn switches.

Used ones are at least if not more broken than yours. Here's one place, I'm sure there are more http://www.moderndaymuscle.com/inc/sdetail/634
I think Classic Industries closer to you has them also

Re: Horn switches.

I don't know for sure, but I'd bet that 4th gen buttons are identical and still available from dealer. I've swapped in a complete 4th gen steering wheel air bag and all and there's really little difference between a 90-92 wheel and a 93-97 wheel (not sure on the 98+ wheels).

But the Modern Day Muscle link above looks good if all you need are buttons. But if your air bag is starting to peel up on the edges like mine was, a 4th gen wheel with airbag is a direct bolt-on.
